Abstract

We report on observation of the isospin-1/2 Ξ*(1530) and Ξ*(1830) resonances in K-n interactions at 3.6 and 3.9 GeV/c and present results concerning the production and subsequent decay of the Ξ*(1830) into Ξπ, Ξππ, and ΛK̄. We have also searched for isospin-32 Ξ* resonances and found no strong evidence for the existence of such states. Upper limits on production cross sections for such a particle are presented.
