Abstract
The quasi-two-body reactions Y*(1385) + vector meson have been studied in K-n interactions at 3.0 GeV/c. The following cross sections have been found: 93 ± 13μb for Y*-ρ{variant}o, 99 ± 24μb for Y*-ω, and 44 ± 10μb for Y*-φ. Production and decay angular distributions are discussed and the density matrix elements as function of momentum transfer are given. The exchange mechanism of the forward part of these reactions is discussed. The results are compared with various theoretical predictions and particularly with those of the quark model.
